Welcome athletes, parents and coaches to the 2022 U16 National Championships!

Today and for the next 6 days, Mont-Tremblant, a town with a long tradition of Alpine skiing, will be at the center of our attention.

Once more the “Trembling Mountain” will be host to a National Championship, U16 this time.

150 athletes from across the country have made the journey to test themselves against the best of their age, if sport has taught us anything it’s resilience, determination, perseverance and to never give up.

I would like to congratulate Station Mont-Tremblant, the Mont-Tremblant Ski Club, Alpine Canada, Ski Quebec Alpin, and the many volunteers for the organization of this important event.

To the athletes, I wish you courage, grit and success…. and don’t forget to have fun!
